Touching the Moment: A monthly Internet radio discussion
Mindfulness is an ancient practice and a cutting-edge approach to reducing stress. Let's talk about how to integrate mindfulness into our lives with your host, Paul Deger! Broadcasts last Sunday of the month, 3:00-3:30 pm MT. Join the discussion live or access archived episodes at www.blogtalkradio.com/mindfulnesstrainer.
Mindfulness 101: Embracing the Moment
Mindfulness is more than a technique or tool. It is an ancient practice and a cutting-edge approach to reducing stress. This age-old wisdom can help increase your capacity to pay attention and offer an opportunity to fully embrace each moment. Learn how to increase awareness of breath, body, and emotions in your daily routine to improve overall health and allow you to more fully participate in the adventure of life. With an emphasis on experiential exercises and discussion, students will learn mindfulness practices and how to apply these principles to their daily lives.
Next start date: July 11th - Four Thursdays (7:00 - 9:00 pm) register at www.freeu.com
Living in the Moment: A Monthly Mindfulness Group
A practice-centered group to support your continuing mindfulness practice. In addition to meditation and other mindfulness practices, we will discuss struggles and strategies to integrate both formal and informal mindfulness practices into your daily routine. While this group is in response to former students' request for a follow-up to Mindfulness 101, all are invited to deepen their understanding and practice of mindfulness. BYOC and YM (cushion and yoga mat - chairs available also).
- Time: On hiatus at this time
- Suggested Contribution: $10
